Still enjoying a home away from home considering a blog for today, I took a moment to look up from my computer. Waves and white caps scudding across the bay directly in front of the window, a huge white breasted sea eagle floating above and not a soul for miles.

I was in total isolation yet wanted for no modern convenience thanks to the amazing windmill and solar panel that were tucked behind the fully sustainable timber yurt I will call home for another week. I have all I need to remain fully productive, in the most beautiful of wild places on the coast in Southern Tasmania. No mainstream amenities down here. As I listened to the blades of the windmill whirring I wondered exactly how do gears drive a windmill?
