Welcoming new employees at Ronson Gears

We've read a bit in the last couple of posts on Gear Talk about why Ronson Gears is such a good place to work from two of our longest serving team members, both of whom started with Ronson Gears as young apprentices. This week we welcome Tom and Bradley who joined the Ronson Gears team as Apprentice Fitter and Machinist's in January. We look at what we sought in these young men and why they were chosen; the qualities that ensured their success as applicants for an apprenticeship at Ronson Gears.

Both young men demonstrated that they were conscientious, reliable, efficient and cooperative right from the outset. They are good communicators and have already shown their willingness to accept responsibility for the result and quality of the operations and tasks which they manage every day.

Upholding very high quality standards in their work and work environment they are practical with their hands, competent with their hand tools and we can already see they have the ability to follow instructions to a 'T', carrying out job functions as directed by their Supervisor or our Leading Hand, according to specification or instruction.

The investment Ronson Gears makes in our apprentices is considerable and it is essential for us to ensure that successful applicants for an Apprenticeship with us are the right people for the job, fit with our culture and most importantly have the right attitude. Then WE know we have the right ingredients for a win-win situation. For them, for us and for our customers!

Welcome Bradley and Tom, congratulations on fitting in so well and so quickly and we look forward to having you with us for a long time.
