This technology brought a new level of internal gear cutting capability to Australia in 2009. According to Managing Director Gordon New it "... is capable of producing gears with far superior tooth profile accuracy and surface finishes compared to older shaping machines, leading to longer gear life. This technology is particularly important to our customers in the Mining Industry."

It is also very different technology to the new type of gear shaper designed by Edwin R. Fellows (May 29, 1865 - May 21, 1945), an American inventor and entrepreneur, in 1896. Click here to read more.
