Family matters at Ronson Gears

Family is an important matter at Ronson Gears. Founded by Ronald New in 1954 Gavin New, Ronald's grandson now steers the marketing side of the family owned business. According to Gavin the team at Ronson's gear manufacturing business is an integral part of the extended family; Stock Sales Coordinator Michele Kranzbuhler who has been with the company 15 years considers her desk at Ronson as home away from home. And this was where her very excited son Luke came this morning to show off a most valuable trophy!

To anyone who knows anything about cricket the possibility of playing with a Gray Nichols cricket bat is the ultimate. To have that cricket bat signed by arguably the world's greatest cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is beyond imagination!! Yet that's exactly what young Luke has to share with his mates when he returns to school on Monday. Thanks to Luke's dad Stuart Kranzbuhler, who is a production manager for this most famous of brands and the man behind the design and production of cricket bats for all the world greats, Luke met with his idol this morning and received the gift of a lifetime! We're very excited for you Luke and thanks for sharing this special celebration with us!

Interesting too, in speaking with Stuart to learn how each cricket bat produced under his watchful eye differs from player to player. For example Sachin's bat is much heavier and different in shape to David Warner's. Thanks again to the Krauzbuhler family for sharing!
