One of the great pleasures of the gear business is to meet the people involved in the industry.
And what a pleasure it was for our MD, Gordon New to greet and entertain six visitors from Houston, Texas, whose cruise ship called into Melbourne recently for a day visit.
Jack and Linda Nowlin – that’s them far right in the photo above – operate CB-Gear, a gear business in Houston, are enjoying the cruise with their friends, Bob, Judy, Richard and Barbara.
After a brief tour of Ronson Gears, Gordon and friend, Shelley, escorted the group to sample the delights of the Mornington Peninsula’s wine and restaurant region before touring Melbourne city.
Friendships forged with gear business people such as Jack and Linda are of great value, and add another dimension to what we do at Ronson Gears. Gordon was happy to reciprocate his visit to CB-Gear some years ago through sharing our experience and knowledge. The mutual exchange of information helps to keep our industry buoyant and dynamic.
